IN PERSON: Masks are optional while at your seat in the sanctuary. If you've removed your mask for the service we kindly ask that you put it back on while you move about the building. We provide color-coded wristbands, and wel ask that post-service congregating happen outside as much as the weather will permit.
ONLINE: Sunday services will no longer be streamed in the Zoom room; please watch on the GCC Facebook page or YouTube. Then join us for the "after party" for our popular post-service community time and discussion!
Check out this video with more information about us and what to expect from our Senior Leaders, JD + Carrie Leman
What can I expect?
How long is a GCC service?
The service begins at 10am and lasts for about an hour. The service begins with the GCC worship team leading the church in a time of worship. Then one of our speakers will come and share a powerful, encouraging and provoking message.
What's the culture like at GCC?
Sundays at GCC are exciting, casual, and relaxed. We are a house that champions freedom and simply ask that you extend the same freedom to others. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
What about my kids?
Currently, we are working on a plan to reboot our Sunday Children's services in coordination with the '21-'22 school year. Though children are always welcomed at GCC it looks unlikely that we will be able to offer dedicated programming for them until later this summer. (Parents, you are welcome to bring iPads and headphones or anything else for your child(ren) to engage with during the service as long as it's respectful of others in the service.)
If you are interested in helping us game plan for what Kids and Youth will look like later this year, please email Jen.Aldrich@greaterchicagochurch.com to be included in the discussion.
