The 4 Gospel writers each had their own lens. I think God had them all write their own accounts precisely to show us that, and to give us a fuller view of Jesus and his life and example on earth. Jesus was the only human who was the accurate representation of the father. Everyone else was doing their best, with their own biases and strengths and weaknesses and life experiences and interests.
Luke was the doctor, so you read a lot about the healing miracles. John was the lover and mystic (also the one who wrote latest in life, so he had time to marinate). JD's fav is Mark, so you can ask him about that! Matthew is the best one for telling the Christmas story and writing musicals. Which one do you connect with best? That might be a clue to identifying your own lens.
Now bring that lens over here to Romans and tell me how you read it because it’ll be different than how I do.
We can trade kaleidoscopes and compare notes.
